Judges Comments

We are just glad we weren't riding in a bus in the Southeast this January. Each winning shot included a bus in varying degrees of distress. First place was great because the photographer was right there for all the flames. Second place shows the determination of the driver despite such high water. Third place was a good hustle by the photographer to get there at such an early time of day, and nice layering from foreground to background. Honorable mention was awarded because the photographer was in the right place to see a victim carried away, but we could have used less of all that yellow tape.
