Judges Comments

We loved that every single person in the hockey goal photo was engaged with the players. We know how easy it is for one or two people in a sea of faces to detract from a jubilation photo. We felt it could have been cropped in from the bottom, up to where the blue line of the rink wall, and in from the left, to make it stronger. Our second and third place winners were chosen because of their clean, graphic nature. We loved the perfect framing of the skier under another's legs in second place.
