This category needed more narrative storytelling. First place rose to the top because it had one family of focus, which made the viewer connect with the people; you could also see that the photographer spent a majority of time following this family around. Second place, snow day showed that the photographer got around at different times of day and kept the focus on the city and some of its people. It gives the viewer a perspective of being snowed in. Could have used a little cropping and a tighter edit.
