Judges Comments

First place is one of those images that remind you never to put your camera down; there’s emotion throughout the image, and there are different stories. Second place has a great feeling, but the off-balance composition of the crop took away from the overall picture. The third place showed commitment to telling the tale by staying after the game and capturing a moment that further told a story besides the win or players. It was placed third because of the distracting elements from the mic to the person walking behind them.
