This category was small, but had some nice news moments. First place stood out with strong emotion and a tight crop to take you right there to the courtroom. Had to read the caption on the second place winner, definitely a different moment and very visually graphic. We could feel the emotion again in the third-place picture and it was a tender moment. Would have cropped a bit from the left though.
