First place - strong composition love the symmetry of the pose with family and the use of background. Maybe would have cropped a little off the left.
Second place - like the natural symmetry of the objects and birds, it doesn't happen often.
No third-place photo.
The remaining three photos could have been submitted to general news assignments rather than features. Not saying they would have competed but feel they are in the wrong category.
