The tilt-shift effect of the first place image is fantastic! The moment, the sport and the setting just seems like it was made for that artistic lens endeavor. We like the photogs vantage point of not being on the court to capture the jubilation of players and their smiles in the second place image. So often all basketball shots are from the court, getting into the stands or higher makes a nice change and a cleaner background. For third place we like the wide-open arms gesture of the happy soccer player along with the smiles of the others which told us everything we needed to know without reading the cutline.
