First Place: This photo was the clear winner. Not much debate. Toned well, nice emotion. However a tighter crop across the top would have improved the overall quality of the photo.
Second Place: We applaud the photographer for trying something different though it could have been executed better. Would have liked to see a little more emotion on the faces of the losing team and a tighter crop.
Third Place: There was some debate on which photo to pick for third, but this entry eventually won out. It captured a fun moment, which helped lift it above the others, although a much tighter crop would have made the photo a stronger entry.
There were a lot of near misses in this category that had nice elements but failed to put together a complete package. Better crops would have helped a lot of the entries.
