First place cheerleader studio, technically well done, great emotion, well-balanced frame. Lighting choice for the pose and hair is well-executed. Wish we could see the top of her hair! Second place, the WWII veteran, simple but dignified and lighting was complimentary to the subject as was the post. Third place NFL cheerleader portrait had nice color and an interesting way to show a different side of this openly transgender cheerleader. Very dignified as well. Good leading lines and frame balance. Track sportait is nice, nice light, athletes don’t always have to be in action. Didn’t place but shoutout to the bubble portrait.
