First place stood out due to what we’re guessing is a remote camera. Everything was in focus in the frame and captured peak action with faces and the ball. Second place stood out because of the same three elements as before - faces, ball and peak action but was a little lower action compared to first. Third place was your standard sliding image which could’ve used a crop and maybe the element of who the athlete was sliding away from a bit more. Overall, photographers should make sure their entries are in focus for this category.
