This was unusual in that there were images here that stood out without blood and guts. First place caught our eye as an unusual image of somebody getting a cellphone photo of a shooting at an airport that framed a tough assignment in a different way; second has a touch of incongruous humor - a man consoling another next to fully engulfed burning taxi cab; third was just funny, the person searching in an overturned vehicle in a creek bed, but it was made a tougher read from a very loose crop.
