The snowman shot was fun and immediately communicated the duality of the four figures. We recognized that the photographer probably previsualized this composition coming together and waited for the moment to happen. Second place was awarded because the photographer worked for access to this scene and caught the splashing water to complete the scene. Third place was awarded because of the simple beauty of the classic wintry scene. Honorable mention was awarded to the dining scene that reminded us of the famous Edward Hopper painting.
