Category had more entires than most. All three places rose to the top. Judges stressed that most of the entries needed to be edited tighter. While the photos are all well done, repetition hurts an entry. If you entered 14, try to get that down to a more manageable number. It's much cleaner. Be critical of your work.
First place with amazing light and good faces, but needed tighter editing. Kind of a toss up between first and second.
Second place had great light, strong moments, and maybe a few too many images, but the story subject is intriguing with great access.
Third went to a 101 year-old vet. Nice lede-in, solid focus with good moments, each image tells a story.
