We were lenient on the definition of a story/essay because both of these choices were shot in less than an hour. Our winner was chosen only because these are good images, we would have liked more caption info to explain what the story was. Second place was good coverage of a pretty cool event, but it could benefit from losing a few images and showing the actual end of the construction.
