Judges Comments

The first place image was in our top four and slowly made it to the top spot after we dissected the image more and more. There are so many things going on in the frame that captures multiple moments. The wide angle distortion of the nurse's leg on the right was an issue, but thought a little crop from the right might deemphasize that. Second place got the nod because it was different. A little humorous, but the graphics of the subject got our attention. Third place was a different take on flag retirement ceremonies. We liked the light and attention to composition.
