First place stood out from the rest because of its strong composition with the tilted face catching snow and the motion blur snow in the background. It was the only image in the bunch that made us really look at everything in the frame and notice how everything captured added to the strength of the image. The joy on the faces of tourists on vacation at the beach made second place stand out. We like the above angle of third place showing the small nook that a lesson is taking place in.
