First place is not the expected photo of a loved one grieving at a memorial, the emotion is more subtle but just as powerful. 2nd place is a different take on the veteran reflection photo we've seen before. We liked the merging of the aging man with his youthful image and the flag on the couch nicely enhances the aesthetics and the storytelling. 3rd is a simple image and draws you right where you need to be, the emotion.
