"Agony and ecstasy" photos are often cliche, but the first place winner rose beyond the mundane. Great moment and use of shallow depth of field. Nice clean background. 2nd place winner has palpable joy and is very well done. 3rd was a great moment but definitely needed to be cropped from the right-hand side.
