1st. We debated this image quite a bit. Our final decision boiled down to the fact that the photo manipulation was done in camera. If it was done on the computer, this would have been considered a photo illustration. Because you shot the image this way, we didn't disqualify it. Amazing photo. Immediately captures the eye. 2nd. We actually debated this image as well for whether or not it should have been sports action. Our decision was the event was a feature event, not an official sporting event, and therefor it qualifies. Great moment, although you could crop tighter on the right. 3rd. Great moment, nice layering, fun feature.
