1st Place: Fits the spirit of the category. Many nice strong moments wit ha narrative. It could have benefited from a tighter edit. It’s not easy to photograph such intimate moments of such intimate subject matter.
2nd Place: A diverse look at a day on the border on a subject that is covered a lot and very difficult to find something new. Well done working withing the confines of a border story.
3rd Place: A very nice pictorial of an annual event during uncommon times. Dramatic light helped but a tighter editor would also have helped.
