Judges Comments

1st Most likely the play of the game captured cleanly. Gotta love a touchdown with a defender getting dragged across the goal line while trying in vain to make a shirt tackle. We're fans of faces (and eyes) and the photographer gave us both of the main players. 2nd We found this moment to be perfect. Quite the pictorial action shot. One of the compelling things for us was the matching color throughout the frame. We thought it might have been even better had the photographer used a shallower depth-of-field to make the players pop a bit more. Maybe not. Still a great image. 3rd Nice moment with the ball on the finger tips. We felt like this image was missing another element which might have moved it up in the competition.
