Judges Comments

1st A great set of images and some even greater singles. The photographer's hard work paid off. As always, sometimes an edit or just rearranging some images in the mix would make this even stronger. 2nd Another set of wildfire images. We love a tight edit, but we felt this one needed more to compete with our first place winner. 3rd We don't cover many wildfires out here in Southern Indiana, so maybe this is a picture folks in the West see all the time, but it was different enough for us to want to award it. A little surreal finding beauty in such a catastrophic situation.
