Judges Comments

Another strong category, quite a bit of discussion about composition and crops. Some of the multiple entires, again, needed tighter editing. 1st place went to a photo of Bobby Portis of the Milwaukee Bucks during his basketball camp for kids, good overall composition, nice moment, a nice single photograph that tells a story. 2nd, a quiet but clean image of a coach celebrating with a player after a pick six. Very nice photograph. 3rd given to a picture of Houston Texans defensive end Derek Rivers son placing a helmet on his dad's head. The winers are really nice moments with good interaction. Some debate over a lightning photo that would have placed with a better crop. Dramatic image but the buildings on the edges of the photo hurt the entry.
