Second - Good use of light dramatically separating foreground from background. This classic portrait is not only technically perfect but also reveals a lot of personality in the portrait. Small details - the dollar bills on the hand wraps, the tattoos, the spartan gym – add up to a lot of personality. Third - This is a competent environmental portrait. The photographer manages to include a lot of storytelling details: the sketch of the prototype, the plans, the materials, the tools. Lighting the glass from below was a nice touch.
