Truly a fabulous category. There were some great protest pictures, but when they were cobbled together to try and make a picture story they were eliminated. A single image has a great deal of value on its own. Don’t try to make a picture story when one doesn’t exist.
First Place: This broke my heart. The great captions just added to the great images. Well shot, well edited, nice variety of images. Powerful work. Second Place was a simple idea but photographed so exceptionally well that I felt I was sitting on the porch. Third Place again was simple but so well done. Congrats all!
