What a fabulous selection. I wish I could offer an Award of Excellence to a bunch. First Place has a great sense of who this man is. I feel I know him, which is everything a portrait should do. Second Place was quiet, and I’ve seen so many images of people greeting one another through a closed window, but this was so well composed it felt like I was in on the conversation. Third Place was a very well done portrait; again, I feel like I know him.
