We liked the first place photo for how it was shot very tight focusing on the eyes, mask, and thermometer. Second place was a nice image. One comment we had was questioning the direction the photographer photographed from, thinking a different angle might make a cleaner background. After reading the caption though we realized that the signage in the background helped tell the story. Third place was not only being in the right place at the right time, but also being prepared. This moment was over in a second or two and the photographer was ready to capture it.
