First place caught a funny and relatable moment and showed clear attention and quick reflexes on the photographer's part. Second place was a solid slice of life picture with nice light. Seeing the man's face and trails of water droplets added to the late-summery feeling of the picture. We loved third place for its subtlety, softness both in subject matter and in tone, and for the photographer having gone out of the way to find such a sweet moment happening behind the scenes.
