Lots of routine warm-up pictures that we might have considered sports action were submitted in this category. First place rose to the top easily for its humor and nice composition. Second place felt like a good neighborhood walkabout find and broke the mold for usual subject matter in this category. Third place made us appreciate the photographer's process in looking for a unique, interesting way to photograph a routine assignment.
