Judges Comments

Some engaging images in this category were passed over due to weak editing of multi-photo entries. The fire's glow in the first place entry dwarfs the police officers. Second place gave us a lot to talk about and could have placed higher as a single. A couple engaging moments were captured here, and the photographer was able to find a good and presumably safe position to observe from. Third place gives a sense of the dry conditions that make fire season so dangerous.
