First was a very well executed story, the photojournalist really worked this and it was clear they spent a log of time on the story. What a great variety of images. For second place, it was also clear the photojournalist spent a lot of time on the story. It's photographed well, and tells a story not many are aware of. Good access certainly helped in this case. Third place is a simple story, but is told well, with a nice variety of images.
