Judges Comments

The winners were all unique slices of life in each community. One judge gravitated to the post office retirement image because it was surprising and had the added element of the mask wearing accordion player and the joyful reaction of the postal carrier. The graduating senior was more subtle but lovely in color and composition. And first place encompassed a sweet moment with solid composition that really tells the story of the time we are living in, as all these photographs do.
