For us, though, some of those were weighed down a bit by redundant photos that detracted from some worthy individuals. We settled on several strong singles that we felt worked exceptionally well on their own. First place - This was a very clear winner for us, especially after reading the caption. It just encapsulates much of 2020 in a single moment. Second place - An intimate moment, captured intimately. The execution isn’t perfect, but the moment and story wins out on this one. The best of a number of COVID-19 release photos in the category. Third place - A fresh look at what’s now a pretty commonplace occurrence. We found ourselves wondering how odd this photo may have looked just a few months ago.
