Although the entries were a little limited, we found strong work throughout the Photo Essay category. First place - The wedding package offered an intimate and joyous look at a couple adapting to changes imposed on their special day. Second place - The protest package featured many emotional and telling moments captured by a photographer that was clearly engaged. A tighter edit and little stronger sense of narrative would have elevated it for us, but still, very well done.
