1st We loved everything about this portrait. Correct lensing, composition, light. It's all there. 2nd People aren't the only good portrait subjects out there and this image proves it. Another portrait where everything works well from the shallow depth-of-field, the dog's gaze and it's bejeweled tiara. 3rd Solid portrait given the circumstances. It's difficult to do portraits of things that happened in the past and the photographer pulled it off by tying the present-day residents to the land.
