Lots of basketball was entered this month but nothing stood out in a lasting way. 1st: Decent action, and the falling motion is still visible. Could probably have benefitted from an alternative crop -- the story winds up taking place on the left hand side of the frame. 2nd: The expressions make this photo as strong as it is. Could have been cropped tighter from both bottom corners. 3rd: Definitely the most different, from a perspective and sport standpoint. What holds the photo back is the lack of human emotion. The caption pulls a lot of weight that the photo should likely have illustrated.
