Judges Comments
Only 4 entries made it through the first cull, so this category was easy to judge. Many of the entries were simply a collection of photos, lacking any real story or narrative. First-place was the clear winner. Said one judge, “The essay on homeless encampment showed the photogrpher’s willingness to bring views into a world they are not familiar with.”
