Judges Comments
Clearly, the number of entries in the sports categories has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be interesting to see what happens in April and future months until sports resume. Still, there were some really nice action shots in this group. First-place was a clear winner after the first edit. The 2nd-place rodeo image would have been a strong contender for 1st if more of the cowboy’s face was visible. A couple of the judges liked the loose crop of the wrestling photo and the banner in the background, but two others felt the crop should have been tighter.
