The top three just had the little extra that made them special. 1st place: The combination of the players and fans celebrating and the stronger composition pushed this image above the rest. 2nd place: We loved the emotion in this image. The fan on the right completes the image. Judges felt it could have been improved with a crop of both left and right sides. 3rd place: It was a little different from the rest. The caption helped this one. It had strength in its quietness.
