Mid-Atlantic – March 2020 – Photo Story/Essay

Judges Comments

Entries here were mostly photo essays that would benefit from tighter edits for the best images. First gave us variety of the many institutions struggling due to coronavirus. We loved individual photos like the sanitizing wipes, the doctors getting lunch and shopping cart dunking. We felt it could be stronger cutting down to around six or eight photos with a different edit. Still great effort to bring all the scenes together. Second was the most story of the entries. While we thought this could benefit from a different, less sequential, edit as well, the photographer did a good job of showing the many aspects of a drive up church. Third gave us variety and the photographer clearly worked the scene and captured some good details.
