This was a pretty weak category. There were several images we liked as single pictures, but they were submitted as part of multiple picture entries that were just too weak when considered as a whole. First place we assume is a drone photo, which some might consider an "easy" shot, but the vantage point really shows the scope of the crash as well as the remote location. The scrape marks on the pavement and the way the roadway stretches into the distance really give this a different perspective. We liked the potatoes scattered in the second-place photo, but wish the truck was a little more visible. Good for getting the tow guy in the frame though. We didn't pick a third place.
