All the stories awarded gave us a sense of place. They also could have all benefitted from a tighter or different edit. First place gave us a look into a community we rarely see, without seeing too much. Second place needed a tighter edit (also watch some techincal issues with reflections). Third place felt lik we were kept at arms length from the subject matter, but the great color, motion and moments helped this story.
