Portrait entries were not as strong compared to the other categories. We selected the three we felt stood out most and are relatively stronger. The first image has nice composition and is not revealing of the light source which makes the photo feel more authentic and natural. The second image is a unique perspective and we appreciate the photographer's efforts in waiting for this moment to unfold. The lighting and toning could be adjusted. The third image is a beautiful setting with nice light. The composition could be significantly stronger with a tighter crop and different angle to bring us into the image more.
