Judges Comments

First was a well-framed, storytelling image. It was nicely photographed, but seems that the photographer put their heart and sole into the image, but not the caption. Second won because of the tender moment during a vigil. Third place came to life because of the eyes, and made us want to know what was going on. We did feel that it may have place higher with a different crop.
