Mid-Atlantic – April 2019 – Photo Story/Essay

Judges Comments

1- The first place photo story won because it had the most variety of images. It had detail images, medium shots and wide, all showing the scope of the event. 2- A really unique concept for a story. The judges wished there was more of a variety in the images, for example tighter shots, or wide angles. There is nice light in a potentially difficult lighting scenario. 3- The images in the third place winner were well done for an event that could potentially be a one note, or stagnant assignment. The photographer took care in documenting the people in the exhibit.
