First place was a well-executed picture that, besides being perfectly lit, was fun, too. Loved the story of the girl, too. Second place was nicely composed and used the available light nicely. One judge thought the background lights were distracting, but others thought they added depth to the cavernous barn. Photographer made use of the window to create a portrait of a hero. Toning a background probably kept this image from rising higher in the category.
