Judges Comments

One judge stated this was, "..an overall weak category with no clear winner." We chose the first place image because it was one of the few that showed any peak action or reaction. The framing felt a bit awkward, maybe too tight? Second place was a photo we've seen many times but was clean(ish). Third place was pretty. It didn't really offer anything other than that. We would like the see the photographer wait to get a photo that is more meaningful with that same framing. Maybe it's a ball that hits the pitcher, etc.
