1st. We thought this story had the best mix of story arc and compelling images. There was even a reveal, that she’s also a cheerleader. We also liked that they acknowledged the black eye in the story, which adds a certain element to a cheerleader that is presumably not normal. 2nd. This was another mix of great images and story arc. Mix of color, detail shots and wide shots of the restaurant. You got the sense that it was a small but tight-knit community that comes to this restaurant. 3rd. We thought it did a really good job of telling a story of a single event. The images had depth (such as the split screen/behind the curtain image, and conveyed the raw emotions of a young death.
