The first-place winner includes photographs that are well composed, have beautiful light, interesting content, passive and active moments. The photographer got many aspects of the community. Second place could be edited much tighter. Taking out about three photographs would have made it much stronger. But the news value of the event and ability of the photographer to get all aspects of the funeral was amazing. Third place takes us to a girl’s wrestling meet and includes many of the aspects of the sport.
