The first place image immediately rose to the top - great moment. We had more discussion around second and third place. We selected the second place image because of the moment captured... battle for possession of the ball at the line. This image felt like a poetic way to capture that drama. We loved the third image because of the moment captured, but also because it felt fresh. The toning could be improved but we appreciated the introduction to this situation.
So many of the other images in this category, while strong sports moments, felt predictable.
